About Ryan Chevrolet in Buffalo, MN
Ryan Chevrolet is the Chevrolet franchise at Ryan Chevrolet Cadillac, our shared dealership at 911 State Highway 55, Buffalo, MN 55313. Our Chevrolet dealership opened in Buffalo in 1976 and is part of the locally owned, family-owned Ryan Auto Mall dealership group.
We offer new Chevrolet vehicles, pre-owned vehicles from a variety of manufacturers, financing assistance, and service and parts support. Our team serves shoppers and vehicle owners from Buffalo, Annandale, Rockford, Monticello, and surrounding Minnesota communities.
Ryan Chevrolet and Ryan Cadillac share the Ryan Chevrolet Cadillac dealership location in Buffalo. Each franchise has its own website for brand-specific vehicle shopping and information. Ryan Auto Mall also includes separate Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealerships in Buffalo and Monticello.
The Ryan Family's Automotive History
In 1960, Mr. Robert Ryan Sr. opened his first dealership on 9th and Minnesota in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Mid Town Motors sold used vehicles, and Mr. Ryan's son, Bob Ryan Jr., soon got his start in the car business, sitting on the bench in front of the dealership, shining shoes at a nickel a pair.
Six years later, the Ryan family opened Ryan Motors Chrysler Plymouth in Sioux Falls, earning Chrysler's "Pacemakers Top 100 Club" award for many years.
After a relocation to Houston, Texas, in the 1970s with Katy Road Chrysler Plymouth, the Ryan family returned to the Midwest, opening an Oldsmobile store in Brooklyn Park and then, in 1976, our Chevrolet dealership in Buffalo, MN. By this time, Bob Ryan Jr. had worked his way up to become the Dealer Principal.
The Business Grows
Bob Ryan added the Cadillac franchise in 1984, establishing the Chevrolet and Cadillac franchises that share our Buffalo dealership today. The Ryan family opened a Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership in Buffalo in 2011, followed by a second CDJR dealership in Monticello in October 2018.
In June 2015, Bob Ryan celebrated 40 years in the automobile business. His focus on taking care of customers, from the early days of shining shoes to the vehicles we sell and service today, remains central to the family's approach.
The third generation of the Ryan family is now fully invested, continuing their father's tradition of high standards and caring for customers. While the shoe shining has ceased, they still take care of their customers every step of the way.
